TIFFANY GILNER

Science/Technology

Ms. Tiffany N. Gilner Baker is a native of Moss Point, MS. She graduated from Moss Point High School and later graduated from the University of South Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Health Education. She began her teaching career in 2006 with the Mobile County Public Schools as a special education paraprofessional. She decided to go back to school to obtain her teaching certification and started teaching at Moss Point School in 2008. There, she taught Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology. She transferred to Leflore High School in Mobile, AL where she taught Regular and Honors Biology, Zoology, Marine Biology and Environmental Science. When Denton Magnet School of Technology was created, she left Leflore to begin teaching 7th Grade Life Science and later created the Graphic Arts program. Ms. Gilner Baker holds a Biology Certification in Alabama and Mississippi. She also holds an ACT certification in Science. Ms. Gilner Baker is currently employed by the Moss Point School District as an Instructional Coach for Science and Technology.


She enjoys working with teachers and students to increase student learning and engagement. She also assists with developing professional development workshops for teachers.
