SHERRY RIGGS

Math Teacher

Sherry Riggs is a product of Tennessee, attending the University of Tennessee majoring in Mathematics. She taught in Tennessee and Florida prior to making Mobile, Alabama her home. Ms. Riggs taught at Mattie T. Blount High School in Mobile County Public School System until she retired. Ms. Riggs has over 25 years in education. Because of her love for teaching, she could not leave the field of education entirely. She continues to work part-time as a mathematics teacher for Mobile County’s virtual/homeschool program, Envision Virtual Academy. 

Ms. Riggs has enjoyed her career teaching in the classroom as well as private tutoring. She has been instrumental in helping public, private, and homeschool students “get” math. Moreover, she is known for helping students improve their math score on the ACT and SAT.
